Palm Springs MDP Line 41 Stage 3 and 4 Project

On this project, Sukut constructed approximately 6,000 linear feet of underground reinforced concrete pipe storm drain ranging in sizes from 18 to 108 inches and a six-acre detention basin with 220,000 cubic yards of export. The storm drain line required the construction of numerous concrete structures, including manholes, drop inlets, catch basins, junction structures, outlet structures, and retaining walls. A portion of the line was under an existing roadway, so removing and replacing existing asphalt paving was required, along with any necessary traffic control. Sukut excavated rock in some areas using mechanical ripping and breaking before the storm drain line and detention basin construction.
