Description of Project:
This project entailed excavating down and installing a two-acre underground water storage reservoir capable of holding approximately 12 acre-feet of water. The project highlights included:
- Onsite contaminated groundwater required a water treatment system for dewatering operation
- Placed 3,600 cubic yards of concrete slab
- Placed 734 individual precast concrete structures
- 66,000 cubic yards of excavation
- Meeting airport spec compaction for subgrade / base
- Installing two acres of Mirafi Filter fabric
