Headlands Reserve

Located along Dana Point's coastline, the Headlands Reserve development is now home to custom residences and a hotel overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Sukut Construction, Inc. performed the project’s mass grading, concrete work, and rip rap revetment improvements at Strand Beach. To complete the project, the company moved approximately 3.5 million cubic yards of earth to create 121 building pads across the roughly 65-acre development while self-performing approximately 85 percent of the overall work. The scope also included the construction of mechanically stabilized earth walls, some reaching 40 feet in height, along with stairs and ramps providing direct access to the shoreline.
