Anderson Dam Seismic Retrofit

Delivered through a joint venture between Sukut Construction and FlatironDragados, the Anderson Dam Seismic Retrofit Project will improve the safety and long-term reliability of Anderson Dam while restoring the reservoir to its full operating capacity. The project includes replacing most of the existing dam with a more seismically resilient structure, constructing a new fully lined spillway, and building new low-level and high-level outlet works to enhance operational flexibility and emergency discharge capacity.

Additional work includes staged dam removal and reconstruction, temporary diversion systems, access and haul roads, stockpile and borrow areas, temporary spillways, utility and pipeline realignments, roadway modifications, control and communication systems, and site restoration.

Once complete, the project will help restore the reservoir's original storage capacity, strengthen regional water supply reliability, and improve public safety for decades to come.
