Sukut Construction Recognized as a 2025 Top Solar Contractor by Solar Power World

In a year marked by both challenge and achievement for the renewable energy sector, Sukut Construction is proud to be recognized on Solar Power World’s 2025 Top Solar Contractors list. Based on kilowatts installed in 2024, Sukut ranked:
- #2 among the Top 10 Installation Subcontractors in the U.S.
- #6 in the Top California Contractors category
- #9 in the Top 10 Utility Storage Installers
- #22 overall on the Top Solar Contractors list (out of 401 firms)
This recognition comes during a pivotal time for the solar industry. Despite significant federal cuts to renewable energy programs, 2024 proved to be a record-breaking year, adding nearly 50 gigawatts of new solar capacity to the grid, the most by any energy source in over two decades. Sukut contributed 484,580 kW to this milestone, solidifying its leadership in utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) construction.
Solar Power World’s Top Solar Contractors list is the most recognized annual listing of solar professionals in the U.S., spotlighting companies that are helping decarbonize the grid and expand access to reliable, local energy. Rankings are based on kilowatts installed in the previous calendar year and are organized by company role, market, and state.
