Ryan Prokop Vice President, Energy

As vice president of Sukut’s energy division, Ryan leads the full pre-construction process from bidding and estimating to contract negotiations, while also driving business development, overseeing high-level operations, and guiding the long-term strategy of the energy market.

With over two decades of industry experience, Ryan began his career as an intern and quickly advanced through the ranks to become a project engineer and project manager, gaining hands-on experience in delivering major infrastructure and highway projects. He joined Sukut in 2015 as a project manager in the public works division. As the energy market began to expand, Ryan stepped in to develop and manage all bidding and estimating. His leadership helped fuel the market’s rapid growth, leading to his promotion to lead estimator and eventually to his current role as vice president.

Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, exercising, skiing, golfing, spending time at the beach, and making memories with his family and young son.
