Description of Project:
This stormwater harvesting and underground storage system at Mayfair Park required the excavation of 92,700 cubic yards of earth and the export of 35,000 cubic yards of material. The placement of the shoring beam and plate, along with the installation of 914 modular underground water storage units, was covered with recycled excavated material. The harvesting system included filters, pumps, a diversion structure, a rubber dam, a pneumatic gate, an active control water line, a storm drainpipe, and a catch basin. Project completion included replacing two tennis courts, 8-foot and 12-foot sidewalks, a building extension, T-ball backstops, sewer and electrical service, lighting, and fencing.
