Sukut constructed four, 70-acre waste water treatment ponds were designed as a balanced site, in which dirt would be neither exported nor imported but reused elsewhere on the property. When excavated and reused, the shrinkage factor was 35 percent. Aided with GPS on the equipment, Sukut was able to dig deeper to compensate for the loss.
