Sukut Construction, which has been ranked No. 1 among U.S. landfill contractors, is a multidecade success story, with many major projects in San Diego County, including several projects going on now.

Its impressive growth has been recognized, nationwide. In 2004, the EGCA member earned two national honors from McGraw-Hill's prestigious construction weekly, Engineering News-Record (ENR). In the magazine's annual listing of US contractors, the growing general engineering and grading contractor ranked No. 1 among all landfill contractors in the US, and 297th among contractors nationwide.
